Players must use the same character throughout the entire tournament. If a player chooses random, they must pick random each match.
Stage Selections: All stages are valid - randomly selected battlefield mode
Qualifiers and Semifinal rounds are first to 2 wins. Grand Finals are first to 3 wins. Top 3 players will all win a Nintendo Switch case!
Live Broadcast: The event will be live broadcast on our Twitch and YouTube channels. We encourage you to subscribe/follow us! Competitors and audience are expected to comply with broadcast platforms' terms of service regarding conduct.Â
Code of Conduct:
All players are expected to maintain an appropriate level of conduct while competing in all PlayEX events. This includes (but is not limited to):
i. Being respectful of fellow competitors and staff
ii. Refraining from inflammatory language
Curse words are acceptable if they are not used as an insult or in a harassing manner
The usage of curse words will be monitored and regulated by staff
iii. Following rules of the PlayEX Discord (when Discord is used for an event) – note: the rules listed here may be out of date. Refer to the posted rules in the #rules channel on the PlayEX Discord.
1. Be friendly and always show respect to everyone, no matter their role
2. No advertising or posting spam. Do not tag people repeatedly or without need.
3. Harassment, abuse, hate speech, inflammatory or any kind of discriminatory speech will not be tolerated.
4. No links may contain advertisements of any kind, pornography, racism, or disturbing links.
5. Please use the channels as intended.
6. If we don’t have someone around to help, please be patient.
7. Have a great time!
iv. Arguing with staff over rules, or decisions made by staff will not be tolerated.
v. Accusations of cheating may not be made over public channels. If you wish to make an accusation of cheating, this may only be done sending a direct message to a tournament operator or PlayEX staff member on Discord.
vi. Being a good sportb.At the discretion of PlayEX staff, sanctions may be applied to players who do not follow the rules of events and PlayEX. Sanctions may include but are not limited to: warnings, muting, temporary bans, permanent bans.
All decisions made by PlayEX staff are final and not subject to appeal or argument.
Check-In Procedure:
Check in via DISCORD starting 30 minutes before the scheduled start time in the #college-events channel.
STUDENTS WHO REGISTER IN ADVANCE ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND. IF YOU CANNOT MAKE IT, YOU MUST NOTIFY PLAYEX BEFORE SCHEDULED START TIME. AN UNEXCUSED ABSNCE MAY BE CONSIDERED A STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT VIOLATION AT YOUR SCHOOL.
