Learning Courses

We are developing online courses that will take you through all the basics of live video production, audio production, and lighting - everything you need to take your esports events to the next level! Completion of all courses will earn you an official PEX Certification, which will demonstrate to your community and future clients that you are experienced and educated in all aspects of creating an epic esports event!

Courses are hosted 100% online through Google Classroom and feature a collection of PlayEX-custom, and publicly-available resources including articles and videos to help guide you through each topic of a course. Courses also include written assignments and hands-on-projects that direct correlate with lesson materials. All assignments will receive personalized feedback from the instructor to help you develop your skills and understanding of concepts.

  • Covering video basics, video transmission standards, cameras, lenses, basic broadcast hardware, video switching, hardware vs software switchers, network-based video, SDI video, video files and compression types​

To complete courses, you will need access to a Windows or Mac computer.

Course Fees:

- $39* USD per course

*includes all lessons, materials, personalized feedback on all submitted assignments

To successfully complete a course, a total grade of 70% is necessary. PEX Certification will be granted once all courses have been completed.

Upon purchase of your course entry, you will be invited into the Google Classroom within 24hrs and will be notified by email. There are no time limits on completing assignments, projects, or exams.
