PlayEX is hosting the first open tournament for MSBL on SATURDAY, JUNE 18

This is a public event to get everyone acquainted with the game - a fun semi-competitive tournament.

ENTRY FEE: $0 (free!)

CHECK-IN TIME: 3:30pm EST

START TIME: 4:00pm EST

FORMAT: Standard Double Elimination Bracket (more details below)

PRIZING: Bragging Rights

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

  • Standard Double Elimination Bracket 1v1s

  • All matches are BEST OF 3 GAMES (if match is won after 2, the 3rd game is not played)

GAME SETTINGS:

  • Online Quick Play Friend Lobbies 1v1

  • Match Length: 4 minutes

  • Items: On

  • Hyper Strikes: On

  • Day/Night: Either

  • All stadiums are allowed

ADDITIONAL RULES:

  • Player communication & check-in will be held in the PlayEX Discord Server using #general-tournaments

  • Lobbies are hosted by the HOME player

  • HOME player is responsible for reporting match results in the #general-tournaments channel with a screenshot of match results

  • Players may livestream their gameplay if desired (it's encouraged, actually!)
